Cemetery Sections & Plot Overview
The Biscoe Cemetery is divided into 3 different Sections (Section A, Section B, Section D).
Section Information
Section A is over 100 years old, and the Town has limited records or deeds for this section.
No graves are available for purchase.
Section B is the first section visible upon entering the cemetery. The Town maintains most of the records for this section.

Section D is located near the flagpole and was opened in 2013. The Town is opening this section in segments over time.
Graves are available for purchase.
Plot Pricing
- $300 per grave for in-town residents
- $700 per grave for out-of-town residents
Graves must be purchased in sets of two
Plot Sizes
- Single Grave Plot: 4 ft x 10 ft (40 square feet)
- Two-Grave Plot: 8 ft x 10 ft (80 square feet
- Four-Grave Plot: 8 ft x 20 ft (160 square feet)
Additional Information
The Town maintains records of the plot owner; however, these records may not reflect the name of the individual buried in the plot.
After purchasing graves, please allow up to two weeks to receive your signed and notarized deeds. The Town will retain two copies for its records. Deeds should be recorded with the Montgomery County Register of Deeds in Troy.
The Register of Deeds office is located on the second floor of the Administration Building at 102 East Spring Street, Troy, NC 27371. For information about recording your deed, please call (910) 576-4271.
