In accordance with North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 132, the Town of Biscoe provides access to public records made or received in connection with the transaction of public business. Public records are available for inspection or copying unless a legal exemption applies.

The Town will respond to requests as promptly as possible, consistent with North Carolina law.
The Town is not required to create new records in response to a request.
Some records may be confidential or exempt under state law and may be redacted or withheld.
There is no fee for inspection of records.
Copying fees, if applicable, will be limited to the actual cost of reproduction.
